The Administration Building

1926

In 1926 Wills commissioned its branch Administration Building on the Raleigh Park site. Designed by the Sydney architectural firm Joseland & Gilling, the building was executed in a Georgian Revival style, with a classical verandah and restrained ornamentation befitting the company's growing prestige.

Through the 1950s, Wills enjoyed some of its most profitable years — by 1954 the company held 83% of the Australian tobacco market, and Raleigh Park was its Sydney flagship.
